After windstorm, DC Srinagar inspects power station, assures quick restoration

Srinagar May 19: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud Din Bhat conducted an on-site inspection of the Power Grid Station at Bemina to assess the situation and ongoing electricity restoration efforts in view of power breakdown due to gusty winds last night.

As of now, 93% of power feeders have been restored, said an official. He said complete restoration of power supply across Srinagar will be achieved by 3:00 PM today.
