After Kolkata tragedy, L D hospital in Srinagar enhances security for female medical staff

After the gruesome rape and murder of a young lady doctor at the RG Kar Medical College & Hospital in Kolkata, Supreme court had ordered the formation of a national task force to suggest measures for the security of medical professionals across the country. Taking action, the L.D Hospital in Srinagar has beefed up its security and surveillance, to ensure that lady doctors, staff, patients and attendants feel safe, especially during night shifts.
