Aerial platforms being used to provide extra cover of security in Doda, Kishtwar of Jammu: Army
Srinagar, Aug 31: The Indian army's General Officer in Commanding (GOC) for White Knight Corps, and GOC for Counter Insurgency Force, Delta, a unit of Rashtirya Rifles (RR) deployed in Doda and Kishtwar regions of Jammu on Friday held a security review of the operational preparedness in the Suigarh and Patnazi sectors of Doda and Kishtwar.
While assessing the Kaplas Kund Yatra in the region, it was revealed that forces are maintaining an aerial surveillance to "provide an over-watch," said the army's official spokesperson.

In recent months, the otherwise calm region of Jammu, especially the Chenab Valley, has seen a spate of attacks on the security forces.
