Admin shifts patient from Sopore’s hilly area to hospital

Sopore, Feb 3: The Sub District administration in Sopore shifted a patient in a critical condition from Arzan Sahab Cherhar village in upper Zaingair Sopore to Sub District Hospital Sopore on Saturday evening.

The patient Saifuddin son of Abdul Jabbar was first transported by a JCB from his residence towards Botingoo covering a distance of about 4 km.

The JCB was provided by the R&B Department and thereafter the patient was shifted to SDH Sopore by ambulance provided by the Block Medical Officer (BMO) Sopore.

The patient is now stable and under special treatment at SDH Sopore.

ADC Sopore, Shabir Ahmad Raina thanked the AEE of PMGSY for providing JCB and BMO Sopore for providing an ambulance on time.
