Admin bans unpermitted movement of people during night hours

Rajouri, July 1: In first such restriction of its kind, the gt administration in Mendhar sub division of Poonch district has banned movement of any person in the forest area during night hours from 9 PM to 4 AM citing operational concerns.

The restriction has been imposed by the civil administration on the request of army authorities.  An order for this has also been issued by Sub Divisional Magistrate Mendhar, Imran Rashid.

In this order, the magistrate has mentioned about movement of some people in forest area, fields during night hours wearing Shawls, Blankets further mentioning about search and anti terror operations of forces in villages, especially near Line of Control, during odd hours to combat threat of anti national elements.

" No person shall visit / roam in the forest area during late / night hours from 9 PM to 4 AM wearing Shawls / Blankets without obtaining prior permission from army authorities to avoid any mishappening." the order reads mentioning about a request from army authorities.
