ADGs of police reviews security situation in Rajouri

Rajouri, July 19: Additional Director Generals (ADGs) of police, Anand Jain of Jammu zone, K Vijay Kumar of Law and Order, visited the border district Rajouri on Friday to review the overall security situation especially on operational grounds.

Both the senior officers of police reached Rajouri from Jammu where they chaired a meeting with police officers of gazetted rank in which overall security situation was discussed.

The territorial officers alongwith DIG Rajouri Poonch range Tejinder Singh and SSP Rajouri Randeep Kumar briefed the ADGsP about prevailing situation and aspects of operational development including series of anti- terror operations going on across the district.

Both the senior officers while emphasising on all out efforts to flush out terrorists in the area issued a series of directions among the officers.

Later, the officers visited Palma based army headquarters of Romeo Force where they met with senior army officers and discussed the security situation.

Another meeting was later convened at Rajouri in which all the gazetted officers of Police, Station House Officers (SHOs), Incharge Police Posts participated.

Security situation and anti terror operations were discussed in length and breadth during the meeting wherein both the ADGs issued a series of directions to the officers for result oriented anti terror operations.
