Expressing the resolve of the J&K Police to safeguard the region’s peace by cracking down on the terror ecosystem and networks, Jain emphasized the importance of attaching the properties of those involved.

He further disclosed that the properties of 29 additional absconding terrorists have been identified.

"The process for their attachment is underway and will be completed shortly, further tightening the noose around terror operatives," the ADGP added.

He said that this robust action reflects the unwavering resolve of the J&K Police to safeguard the region’s peace and uphold the sovereignty and integrity of the nation.

“In connection with recent terrorist incidents, we have registered cases and conducted searches across districts against the Over Ground Workers (OGW) support base. Several individuals have been summoned for questioning. Additionally, we have attached the properties of seven individuals in Kishtwar, who are across the border in Pakistan. Operations against them are ongoing, and searches will continue. Efforts are being made to dismantle the support base, structure, and ecosystem of terrorism. This campaign is being carried out across all districts, aiming to eliminate the terror support network entirely,” Jain said.

On the arrest of two hybrid terrorists in Poonch district, the ADGP Jammu said that the mystery behind grenade attacks in the district during the last year has been solved.

He said two terrorists have been arrested in the district from whose possession arms and ammunition have been recovered.

“When interrogated, the two terrorists have revealed the links of a larger terror plot. You know for the last one year there have been grenade attacks at temples, hospitals, Gurdwaras, Army locations and other places and these terrorists have been responsible for all those attacks," he said.

“In addition, they have confessed to having pasted anti-national posters at various places. The aim of this large conspiracy has been to disturb the peace and communal harmony in Poonch district. In the past, we have dealt with Pakistani terrorists, but both these two terrorists are locals. The arrest of these terrorists is a big success for the police, army and the CRPF as it targets the terrorist efforts to recruit local boys,” the ADGP said.
