ADGP Jammu visits Rajpura, Kanachak; assesses security concerns

Jammu, July 13: In a concerted effort to address and investigate recent security concerns, the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu zone, Anand Jain Saturday conducted a comprehensive visit to village Raipura.

He was accompanied by Deputy Inspector General (DIG) JSK Jammu, Sunil Gupta and SSP Jammu, Vinod Kumar.

The team also visited Police Station Kanachak. Subsequently, the officers proceeded to the Border Outpost (BOP) Old Kanachak, where they interacted with the Inspector General of BSF Jammu and other senior BSF officers. The discussions focused on aiming to enhance coordination and fortify security measures.

ADGP issued a directive to the team at Police Station Kanachak to prioritise the investigation of pending cases. Emphasising the importance of timely justice, the ADGP asked the officers to meticulously review each case file and expedite the investigative processes. “This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the police force in Kanachak, ensuring that unresolved cases receive the attention they require,” it was stated.
