ADGP CID inaugurates Public Grievance Cell

Jammu, Dec 17: ADGP CID, J&K, Nitish Kumar Tuesday inaugurated the ‘Public Grievance Cell’ at Canal Road Jammu.

“This cell is in alignment with the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s commitment to address the grievances of the general public about addressing issues related to Passport, Service and other allied verification cases,” a Police spokesperson said.

“The general public having grievances about Passport, Service and other verifications can visit every Thursday from noon onwards. They can register themselves every day from 9 am to 6 pm for a prior appointment on phone numbers 8899009297 (WhatsApp); landline: 0191-2582905 (Help site Jammu) and email Id: grievance-cidjk@jkpolice.gov.in,” the spokesperson said. A similar Public Grievance Cell was established at CID Headquarters near Government Arts Emporium, Srinagar on October 28, 2024.

“The grievance cell at CID Headquarters, Srinagar, has received an overwhelming response from the general public,” the spokesperson said.
