ADGP Armed visits IRP 1st Battalion

Jammu, Mar 13: ADGP Armed J&K Anand Jain, today visited IR 1st Battalion in Reasi and reviewed the working of the Battalion.

According to a press release, he was received by Anita Sharma-IPS, Commandant, IRP-1st Battalion and Sanjay Kotwal, SSP Railways Katra.

The ADGP conducted a thorough inspection of the A-Coy Headquarters, railway guards, and security personnel stationed at Katra. The guard commander and sentries were instructed to remain extra vigilant, considering the prevailing security scenario in J&K.

Upon arrival, the ADGP was presented with a ceremonial Guard of Honour at the Unit Quarter Guard. A plantation drive was conducted at A-Coy Headquarters, where the ADGP planted a Mango tree. He interacted with the GOs/NGOs and later inspected the entire Battalion complex, accompanied by senior officers, including Smt. Anita Sharma-IPS, Commandant, IRP-1st Bn, Paramvir Singh, SSP Reasi, Rajinder Singh, SSP APCR Jammu, Paramjeet Singh, Dy CO IRP-1st Bn.
