ADG reviews security scenario in Jammu
Rajouri, July 29: Additional Director General of Police(ADGP) Anand Jain today reviewed security scenario at a meeting in Jammu.
Several key points of security concern including inter agency inter agency cooperation, border security and countering drone threats were discussed the meeting, which was chaired by the ADGP.
Senior officers of police, and other security forces were present in this meeting. The meeting was primarily organised ahead of Independence Day celebrations to further bolster the arrangements of security in the district and peripheral areas.
The meeting focused on fortifying security in Jammu district especially in view of forthcoming Independence Day.
“The meeting saw inputs from CAPF, intelligence agencies, police, security wing and civil administration,” the officials further said.
A number of key points related to security apparatus were brought under discussion during this meeting.
“Inter-agency cooperation, border security, countering drone threats were the prime points discussed,” the officials further said.
Emphasis was laid on maintaining high alertness for a peaceful celebration and ongoing Amarnath Ji Yatra, they further said.
