Additional Commissioner State Taxes Kashmir assigned additional charge

Jammu, Jan 23: Additional Commissioner, State Taxes (Administration and Enforcement) Kashmir Shakeel Maqbool has been assigned an additional charge to assist in all Public Financial Management System (PFMS) related matters.

Besides, he will also coordinate with banks for the effective onboarding of agencies.

“In the interest of administration, Shakeel Maqbool, ICAS, currently posted as Additional Commissioner, State Taxes (Adm and Enf) Kashmir, shall also assist and coordinate in all PFMS-related matters, in addition to his own duties,” read an order issued by Principal Secretary Finance department, J&K Santosh D Vaidya.

As per the order, he will monitor the uptake of different departments from central schemes, Centre and State Share releases, unspent balances in Single Nodal Agency (SNA) bank accounts, commensurate booking of expenditure on PFMS etc.

“He shall also coordinate with Banks for effective onboarding of agencies and report to Director General (DG), Expenditure-I and DG, Resource, Finance Department in these matters,” Vaidya directed.
