ADDCs to be nodal officers for revival of heritage monuments scheme

Jammu, Jan 29: Additional District Development Commissioners will be the Nodal officers for coordinating and monitoring works under the “Scheme for Revival, Restoration, Preservation and Maintenance of Architect and Heritage in Jammu & Kashmir.”

Nodal officers, however, will work under the supervision of their respective District Development Commissioners.

“In continuation of Government Order No 863-JK(GAD) of 2021 dated September 8, 2021, it is hereby ordered that Additional District Development Commissioners shall be the Nodal officers, under the overall supervision of their respective District Development Commissioners, for coordinating, supervising and monitoring the progress of renovation of works under the ‘Scheme for Revival, Restoration, Preservation and Maintenance of the Architecture and Heritage in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir’,” read an order issued by GAD Commissioner Secretary Sanjeev Verma.
