“Indian Army is fully competent to take on the challenges along the borders. I believe that it (the Army) is giving a befitting reply (to the enemy); in equal measure and kind. It is working in perfect synergy with the Jammu Kashmir Police and other security forces,” LG Sinha said, in response to a question about the emerging situation of concern along the Line of Control (LoC), witnessing skirmishes due to hostile activities from across the border.

I always reiterate that development is not possible without peace. They complement each other. However, this is not the mere responsibility of the government and Police administration only. All responsible citizens share the responsibility to contribute on this account to establish peace,” he asserted.

India is at the number one slot in the case of digital payments, covering almost 46 percent of transactions across the world,” he said.

About J&K, LG Sinha stated that it (J&K) was also, as compared to other states in the country, quite ahead in terms of digital transactions and in terms of data consumption also, J&K's percentage is higher than the national average.
