Action taken against stunt biking in Sopore

Sopore, Nov 26: In a firm display of authority and concern for public safety, Tehsildar Sopore Sheikh Tariq today stopped two stunt bikers who were creating chaos in the town.

Both individuals, along with their bikes, were taken to the Tehsildar's office for further action. Tehsildar Sopore called upon the Chairman of Civil Society Sopore, Aashiq Hussain Zaki, to assist in counselling the stunt bikers and their parents. After a detailed session emphasising road safety and the dangers of such reckless activities, the bikers were handed over to their parents with a stern warning against repeating such behavior.

In a strong message to the community, Tehsildar Sopore reiterated, "These types of activities will not be tolerated in my jurisdiction. Public safety and discipline on the roads are our top priorities."

The Chairman of Civil Society Sopore expressed gratitude to Tehsildar Sopore for his swift and responsible action. He urged parents to play a proactive role in monitoring their children and ensuring that bikes or other vehicles are not handed over to minors or inexperienced riders.

The incident serves as a reminder for the community to uphold safety and responsibility while using public roads. Both authorities emphasised that stricter measures would be taken if such incidents occur in the future.
