Action plan finalised

Srinagar, Jan 8: In order to finalise the action plan for re-verification process of beneficiaries listed in the Public Distribution System (PDS) database in the District, a meeting of District Level Committee was Wednesday held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat here.

During the meeting, the DC asked the officers to expedite the re-verification process for all beneficiaries, particularly those under the AAY and PHH categories. He stressed the officers to conduct a detailed review of current income status of the beneficiaries to ensure the transparent PDS database.

On the occasion, the DC also directed the Officers to ensure 100% completion of e-KYC for all beneficiaries and to incorporate any eligible beneficiaries who may have been left out from the system
