Action in Sarla Bhat case shows Centre’s commitment to justice: Tarun Chugh

Jammu, Aug 12: BJP National General Secretary & J&K BJP Prabhari Tarun Chugh said that the latest action by the State Investigation Agency (SIA) in the murder case of Kashmiri Pandit nurse Sarla Bhat “is proof of the unshakable commitment of the Narendra Modi led central government to justice and accountability.”

Chugh said safety of Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990s was the direct responsibility of then Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah and the then Union Home Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.

He affirmed that Prime Minister Modi is determined to ensure the safety, dignity and justice for the Kashmiri Pandit community. The guilty will be punished and the victims will get justice, this is the new India, Chugh asserted.
