ACB orders reshuffle of senior officers

Srinagar, Oct 14: The J&K Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has announced a reshuffle of its senior officers across various branches in the Union Territory.

The changes were formalised through Government Order No. 343 of 2025, issued by ACB Director Shakti Kumar Pathak on Tuesday.

According to the order, Javid Hassan Bhat, who was serving as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of the SBG Branch ACB Kashmir and held additional charge as AIG (Administration), has been posted as AIG (Headquarters), ACB J&K. His predecessor, Mehmood Ahmed, has been transferred from the AIG (Headquarters) post and appointed as AIG (Administration), ACB Headquarters J&K.

Further, Manzoor Ahmad Mir, previously SSP of the APKS Branch ACB Kashmir, has been appointed as SSP of the SBG Branch ACB Kashmir. Abdul Qayoom, JKPS, who served as SSP of the DKR Branch ACB Jammu with additional responsibility for the UR Branch, has now been posted as SSP of the P/S Central Branch, ACB J&K.

Surinder Kumar, the outgoing SSP of the P/S Central Branch, has been moved to the post of SSP, DKR Branch ACB Jammu. Meanwhile, Mohd Saleem, Additional SP at the P/S Central Branch, has been promoted to SP and posted at the APKS Branch ACB Kashmir.

Additionally, Sunny Gupta, who served as Additional SP at the JSK Branch ACB Jammu, has been assigned the post of SP, UR Branch ACB Jammu. As per the directive, all transfers and new postings will take effect following the conclusion of Vigilance Awareness Week, which ends on November 3, 2025.
