Absconder nabbed by Thanamandi police

Rajouri, Mar 19: Thanamandi police station team has arrested an absconder.

He was evading his arrest in a case whereas a general warrant was also issued against him by acourt

The arrested absconder has been identified by police as Mushtaq Ahmed Qureshi son of Allah Ditta resident of village Plangarh.

A team of police from Thanamandi police station under the supervision of SHO Thanamandi Hilal Azhar and SDPO Thanamandi Viqar Rasool Butt has arrested him from Tangmarg Kashmir, police said.

He was evading his arrest since 2009 and a general warrant of arrest U/Ss 512 CrPC was issued against him by court in 2009 in case FIR No 49/2008 U/S 498-A RPC, police stated.

The absconder shall now be produced in the court
