Absconder arrested in Ramban

Ramban, Nov 28: Ramban Police arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for the last five years.

Police sources said SSP Ramban Mohita Sharma constituted special police teams to arrest the absconders who are evading arrest and against whom a general arrest warrant has been issued by the court.

The police party of Police Station Ramsu led by SHO Police Station Ramsu Inspector Harjeet Singh arrested an absconder Romal Singh son of Ram Lal resident Dhandrath Tehsil Rajgarh District Ramban.

Police said Romal Singh was wanted in case FIR No.58 of 2018 registered under section 380/454 RPC of Police Station Ramsu.

A warrant of arrest was also issued by the court under section 299 CrPc against Romal Singh.
