Absconder arrested in Ramban

Ramban, Apr 4:  Ramban Police arrested an absconder. He was wanted in a case and was evading his arrest for last six years.

Police sources said that on the directions of SSP Ramban Anuj Kumar a police team of Police Station Batote arrested the absconder Mohammad Rafi resident of Dwara Sidhra tehsil and district Jammu. He was wanted in case FIR No. 50 of 2017 under section 188 RPC and Section 11 PC Act.at Police Station Batote.

They said Rafi has been evading his arrest for the last six years with a motive to avoid legal proceedings. A general arrest warrant under section 512 CrPC was also issued by the court against the accused.

The Police team of Police Station Batote after hectic efforts produced the absconder before the Court of Sub Judge Batote.
