Aash Foundation holds memorial function in Jammu

Jammu, Mar 12: Aash Foundation held a memorial function in memory of Mehak who lost her life along with he parents in Canada last year, a press release said.

“Mehak was extra ordinary angel with her outstanding academic abilities and multifaceted personality. Scholarships were given to six outstanding students in academics,” it added. The function was held at writers club with Vijay Bakaya former Chief Secretary as chief guest and former Director General of Police Kuldeep khuda as guest of honour. Secretary cultural academy Manjeet Kour Prof Ashok Aima, ex-Vice Chancellor B L Saraf (retd) Sessions Judge Prof B L Zutshi, academician and President HESK Kashmir, Ramesh Hangloo CEO Sharda Radio and other personalities attended the function

Welcome address was made Prof Indu Kilam and President of Aash Foundation Ashok Kotha spoke about the contours of foundation and inspiring personality of Mehak. Rakesh Hangloo gave the account of the activities of Aash Foundation. General Aash R L Dhar and other executive members were present. Bakaya and Kuldeep Khuda lauded the work and initiatives of Aash Foundation.
