AAP playing politics with farmers: Tarun Chugh

Chandigarh, Nov 24: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today strongly condemned the AAP government in Punjab for failing to address the grievances of farmers.

In a statement Chugh said it is so unfortunate that the AAP used farmers as it is vote bank making tall promises to improve their plight. “But now when they are in crisis and have been demanding due hike in sugarcane prices the Bhagwant Mann government has turned it is back on them,”he said.

Chugh recalled how the Modi government at the Centre has been constantly raising MSP on all crops to help farmers improve their income, the AAP government in Punjab has miserably failed to help them.

He demanded that the AAP government stop playing politics with farmers who constitute backbone of the society.
