AAP insulted Ambedkar, Bhagat Singh to please liquor mafia: Chugh
New Delhi/Chandigarh, Feb 25: BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh today said that the AAP has been misusing the images of Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Shaheed Bhagat Singh for political gains while sitting at the table with liquor barons.
In a statement he said the BJP holds both national icons in the highest esteem and, unlike Kejriwal and his party, genuinely works to uphold their ideals and principles.
The BJP leader said that under Arvind Kejriwal, AAP in Delhi has become synonymous with corruption and extravagant luxuries, as exposed by the CAG report in the Delhi Assembly today.
“In fact, Kejriwal and his party leaders have mocked the legacy of Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh while indulging in corruption worth Rs 2,000 crores. The CAG report, which the AAP government had been hiding for months, has now laid bare the extent of deceit and corruption that AAP has carried out in the name of Ambedkar and Shaheed Bhagat Singh,”he said
