AAP attempting to mislead people of Punjab: Chugh
New Delhi, Dec 16: BJP’s National General Secretary Tarun Chugh today alleged that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is attempting to mislead the people of Punjab.
In a statement, he termed the announcements made by the Aam Aadmi Party for the municipal elections as lies and propaganda. “Aam Aadmi Party government had made big promises to the people of Punjab in the 2022 assembly elections, but even after two and a half years, not a single promise has been fulfilled,” Chugh said. He added that the promises of giving free electricity, employment to the youth and ending corruption remained limited to election slogans only.
The BJP leader said that the condition of Punjab’s cities has worsened during Bhagwant Mann’s tenure.
He added that basic problems like water, sewerage, traffic and garbage management remain the same. Chugh said that the major cities of Punjab, which were promised development, are today victims of chaos and disorder. He said that the policies of the government which talks about giving employment to the youth are nowhere to be seen on the ground.
