Baker’s son qualifies NEET with 655 points in north Kashmir's Handwara

Kupwara, June 7:   The journey of Sajad Mehraj, the son of a humble baker of Sopornaghama village, from the dusty streets to the pinnacle of academic success in NEET is nothing short of extraordinary.

Against the backdrop of his father’s humble occupation as a baker and agriculture, kitchenware seller, Sajad’s quest for knowledge shone brightly.

Despite the challenges that lay before him, he approached each obstacle with unwavering determination and an indomitable spirit.

In the twilight hours of his high school days, Sajad found himself grappling with the complexities of academics while balancing the demands of family and work. Yet, undeterred by the weight of his responsibilities, he sought refuge in the teachings of Physics Wallah online classes, diligently attending tuition sessions and immersing himself in the world of science.

As the sands of time-shifted and the NEET examination loomed on the horizon, Sajad faced a pivotal moment in his journey. Despite a setback in his first attempt in 2023 he refused to succumb to despair, viewing each challenge as an opportunity for growth and self-discovery. With Eid drawing near, Sajad found himself torn between familial duties and academic pursuits.

Yet, amidst the flurry of preparations, he remained steadfast in his commitment to his dreams, finding solace in the rhythmic kneading of dough and the crisp morning air.

From the bustling marketplaces to the tranquil confines of his makeshift study, Sajad’s days were a testament to the power of perseverance and dedication.

With each passing moment, he honed his skills, fueled by the unwavering support of his family and the sage guidance of his elder sister, herself a NEET qualifier in 2022. As the sun set on the eve of the NEET examination, Sajad stood on the precipice of destiny, his heart brimming with hope and determination.

When the results were finally announced, his hard work and perseverance bore fruit, catapulting him to the summit of success with an astounding score of 655 marks.

Reflecting on his journey, Sajad humbly attributed his triumph to the virtues of hard work and determination, dispelling the notion that success is reserved only for the privileged few. Sajad asserts that attending expensive coaching centres for NEET is not mandatory. Instead, he believes that with dedication and hard work, any student can achieve his goal.

Additionally, he mentions that he refrained from using social media throughout the entire preparation period.
