Renovative developments and beautification under the 'Smart City Project' in and around Lal Chowk have created much needed spaces for people to come together and socialize, even during late hours. These developments have started a new trend of nightlife in Srinagar, with both tourists and locals seen enjoying and relaxing till late night, which was uncommon earlier.
