The foreign yatris said it was not possible to express their joy and happiness after visiting here and performing the darshan at the Amarnath Cave shrine.

“We have been planning and preparing for this yatra for a few years now. Finally, we are here,” said a foreign devotee from Canada. “I am here in Kashmir, experiencing its beautiful nature and spiritual energy. We just had darshan. I had tears coming out of my eyes at the cave. There was a deep sense of peace.”

He said that the trek is challenging and one has to be ready for it, but it is worth it.

“If you get a chance, if you feel the call to come here, come. It is a powerful place,” he said.

The devotees said the hospitality of the people of Kashmir and the arrangements for the yatra were amazing.

Last year, several foreigners, including many celebrities, also visited the Amarnath Cave shrine for darshan.
