8th Muharrum: BJP organises refreshment, free medical camp in Srinagar

Srinagar, Jul 4: On the 8th Muharram today, a free medical camp was organised at Jahangir Chowk, Srinagar, by BJP leader and DDC Member Er Aijaz Hussain.

According to a press release, the initiative aimed to serve the mourners with refreshments and essential healthcare support during the sacred days of remembrance.

Er Aijaz Hussain personally served refreshments to the mourners, symbolising the spirit of compassion, service, and communal harmony. A dedicated medical check-up facility was set up at the venue, where mourners were examined by medical professionals and provided with necessary medicines — completely free of cost.

The BJP Lal Chowk Constituency team has been continuously providing refreshments to mourners across different areas for the past five days, reaffirming its commitment to community outreach during Muharram.
