Srinagar, Nov 3: The Khyber Cement Srinagar Premier Division Football League 2024–25, organised under the banner of the District Football Association (DFA) Srinagar, has successfully concluded its first leg after weeks of intense and competitive footballing action.

This season, as per a statement, witnessed 22 top city teams divided into four groups, producing more than 50 thrilling encounters that showcased skill, determination, and passion for the game.

After a fiercely contested group stage, eight teams qualified for the Second Leg (Round Robin League), which included Downtown Heroes FC, Kashmir Elegant FC, Northall United FC, JK Police XI, AG’s Office XI, SWFC Kashmir, JK Bank XI and ARCO FC.

In the second leg, these teams will compete in a round robin format consisting of 28 matches, with the team finishing top of the table crowned as the champion of the Srinagar Premier Division Football League 2024–25. The statement added that the league’s title sponsor is Khyber Cements.

The DFA said the league continues to play a pivotal role in promoting football at the grassroots level, providing a professional platform for talented players across Srinagar to display their potential and commitment to the sport.
