7th Bn SSB conducts mobile repairing training course

Jammu, Dec 28: Mobile repairing technician course of 20 days duration conducted by 7 Bn SSB Jammu under Civic Action Programme concluded on Thursday.

The skill development training for 25 youths hailing from far flung areas of Gandoh in Doda district of J&K was conducted by the SSB with the objective to equip unemployed and poor youths of remote areas of its deployment with skills so that they may develop a sustainable source of livelihood.

Addressing the beneficiary youth, Sudhir Verma, DIG SSB exhorted the youths to make full use of the imparted skill and become a harbinger of positive change. He further said, “SSB stands with poor and needy people in its deployment area and helps them in all possible means.”

“For the purpose SSB has been conducting various skill development training for youths and conducting regular OPD for old aged and needy people of its area of responsibility,” he said.
