7 injured in wild boar attack in Poonch

Poonch, Jan 25: At least seven persons received injuries on Saturday afternoon after they were attacked by wild boar in Mandi tehsil of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

Today around 1710 hrs an information received that in the area of Gali Pindi block Sathra one wild boar attacked on locals in which seven persons received minor injuries, the officials said.

They said the injured have been rushed to nearby health facility for treatment.

The wildlife officials have been called on to the village to catch the wild animal, officials said.
