7 injured in 3 Doda accidents
Ramban, Dec 2: Seven persons sustained injuries in three separate road accidents on link roads of Doda on Saturday.
Police said that a Baleno car, bearing registration number JK06B-2317, met with an accident at Bhargran Bari road near Baraa area of village Barri Marmat late Saturday evening.
In the accident, two persons, identified as Ishfaq Hussain, 30 and Najma Akhtar, 28 of village Prabble Goha Marmat were injured. They were siblings.
Locals and police rushed to the spot and shifted them to PHC Goha for treatment.
Tehsildar Marmat Zaheer Rana visited the hospital and directed the doctors to refer the injured patients to GMC Doda, if required.
In another accident this evening, an Alto car, bearing registration number JK06B- 0195 at Basa Ganika, rolled down about 20-25 feet and fell on the house of Imtiaz Ahmed, resident of Basta Ganika, resulting in the critical injuries to a woman and her two daughters.
Trio was rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital Doda by the locals.
Police said earlier this morning, a rashly driven Alto car, bearing registration number JK02BB- 4311, rolled down the highway at Suigwari and fell down on the link road, resulting in grievous injuries to two persons.
The injured were shifted to GMC Doda by the police team from Police Post Karara with the help of army personnel (4 RR).
Police identified the injured as Ayaz Ahmed, 26, son of Muhammad Yousaf and Farooq Ahmed, 25, son of Abdul Hamid, both residents of Gool Ramban.
Doda Police registered three separate cases for further investigations.
