7-day Urs of Hazrat Naanga Baji (RA) being celebrated

Srinagar,  Aug 04: The 67th annual Urs of Syed Rasool Shah popularly known as Hazrat Naanga Baji (RA) is being celebrated from 4 August to 10 August  at Malangam Bandipora.

During this 7 day Urs, free langar to serve meals is being organised at the residences of sons and daughters of Naanga Baji Sahib (RA) at Malangam in district Bandipora.

Thousands of people cutting across religious and community lines participate in this Urs every year. The Urs concludes on 10  August with the flag hoisting ceremony by the Sajada Nasheen of the Dargah, Syed Wilayat Hussain Shah.
