67th Worker Education Day observed in Jammu

Srinagar, Sep 18: The Government of India, Ministry of Labour & Employment, through the  Dattopant Thengadi National Board for Workers Education and Development, Regional Directorate, Jammu successfully organised its 67th foundation day as Worker Education Day at the Auditorium of Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Jammu today.

The Chief Guest of the programme was Mohd Rizwan-ud-din, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Ministry of Labour & Employment, GOI, Jammu and the  meeting was presided over by  Chanan Singh Toor, Chairman, RAC, DTNBWED, Jammu and General Secretary, Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh, UT of J&K and attended by about 40 senior officials from various PSUs, Industries, Trade Unions, NGOs, University and other social organisations of Jammu.

On this occasion a panel discussion on the subject “Role of Worker Education & how it can contribute to the Socio-Economic progress of the UT of J&K and Role & Importance of Hindi Language in it” was also held.
