The residents said that the bridge once completed can ease out the hardships of people. They said that the bridge was sanctioned in 2019 with over Rs one crore to be spent on construction of this bridge.

“With the completion of this bridge, it will significantly shorten the distance between several villages and help commuters reach their respective destinations in the shortest possible time,” said a local.

The bridge also leads to the sports ground located at Galizoo and players from Lolab are the worst sufferers as they are forced to take longest route to reach the ground. "Had the bridge been completed players could easily reach the ground," said a local Wahid Masoodi.
