6 retired District & Sessions Judges empanelled as Arbitrators of JKIAC

Srinagar, July 10: Six retired District and Sessions Judges have been empanelled as Arbitrators of the Jammu and Kashmir International Arbitration Centre.

According to an order by the Kashmir International Arbitration Centre (JKIAC), the names of the judges were approved by the Arbitration Committee, Jammu and Kashmir International Arbitration Centre, in terms of Rule 11 (c) of Jammu and Kashmir International Arbitration Centre (Internal Management) Rules, 2020.

The judges include Khaliq Zaman Butt, Rakesh Sagar Jain, Muhammad Yousuf Akhoon, Soba Ram Gandhi, Miraj-ud-Din Sofi and Ajay Gupta, who is also a member (Technical, Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission), (JERC), J&K.

The CVs of the Arbitrators would be uploaded on the website of the Jammu and Kashmir International Arbitration Centre, the order said.
