6 injured in wild boar attack in Kulgam

Kulgam, Jan 22: Six persons suffered injuries in a wild boar attack in south Kashmir's Kulgam town on Monday.

An eye witness said that a wild boar surfaced in a market place and mauled half a dozen people.  A health official at District Hospital Kulgam told Greater Kashmir that they had received six people at the facility and were being treated for their injuries.

Soon after the incident, police and officials from the wildlife department rushed to the spot and captured the beast.
