6 grenades recovered in Poonch

Poonch, Aug 28: Security forces on Wednesday recovered as many as six hand grenades kept inside a small hideout of terrorists at Dachin Top area of Poonch district.

This hideout was traced by security forces during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Dachin Top area of Poonch district on Wednesday evening.

This operation was launched by Indian Army's Rashtriya Rifles Battalion and Police over a specific intelligence input.

During operation, officials said, a terrorist was busted that was made under a rock in area and during its search six hand grenades were recovered that have been taken into possession.

The officials added that search operation in the area is still going on.
