58 JKAS officers transferred, posted

Jammu, Nov 20: In a major rejig in the civil administration, the J&K Government on Thursday ordered the transfers and postings of 58 Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers, including 17 junior scale JKAS officers, with immediate effect.

As per an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), Rajinder Singh Tara, Controller, Legal Metrology, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Secretary in the Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment.

Tariq Hussain Ganai, Director General, Estates, Kashmir holding additional charge of Director General, Estates, Jammu and Managing Director, J&K Medical Supplies Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, J&K Medical Supplies Corporation, on full time basis.

Sajad Hussain Ganai, Director General, Development Expenditure Division-I, Finance Department, has been transferred and posted as Mission Director, ICDS, J&K, against an available vacancy.

Bashir Ahmad Khan, Secretary in the Social Welfare Department, will hold charge of the post of Executive Director, J&K Rehabilitation Council, Social Welfare Department, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

Shiv Kumar Gupta, Director, Command Area Development, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Controller, Legal Metrology, J&K.

Reyaz Ahmad Wani, Additional Inspector General of Registration, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Science and Technology Department.

Rajinder Kumar Sharma, Special Secretary to the Government, Jal Shakti Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Skill Development Department.

Ashwani Khajuria, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Director, Estates, Jammu. He will also hold charge of the post of Director, Estates, Kashmir, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

Abid Hussain, Additional Commissioner in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Additional Inspector General of Registration, Kashmir.

Ashish Kumar Gupta, Special Secretary to the Government, Skill Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department.

Ashiq Hussain Lily, Additional District Development Commissioner, Budgam, has been transferred and posted as Regional Director, Survey and Land Records (ex-officio Settlement Officer), Srinagar, against an available vacancy.

Ghan Shyam Singh, awaiting orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department, has been posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Jal Shakti Department.

Bilal Khurshid, Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Yusmarg, has been transferred and posted as Additional Registrar Cooperatives, Kashmir, against an available vacancy.
