5473 candidates appear in JKSSB constable exam in Ganderbal
Ganderbal , Dec 1: The Service Selection Board (SSB) examination for recruitment to constable posts in the Police Department concluded successfully across Ganderbal district on Sunday.
Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shyambir, along with SSP Ganderbal, Ragav S, inspected various examination centers to assess the arrangements and ensure a smooth and transparent conduct of the written examination.
A total of 5989 candidates were scheduled to appear for the exam, out of which 5473 candidates participated, officials said. The examination was held across 27 designated centers in the district.
During his visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the arrangements being put in place for the candidates, including seating arrangements, cleanliness, videography, drinking water, lighting, and heating in the examination halls. He expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and commended the efforts of the Nodal Officer and all concerned officials for ensuring the successful conduct of the examination.
To maintain transparency and security, magistrates and videographers were deployed at all examination centers. Additionally, the district police ensured adequate security arrangements throughout the process. The district administration reiterated its commitment to maintaining fairness and efficiency in recruitment processes to uphold public trust and confidence.
