5-day session of J&K Assembly to begin on Nov 4

Srinagar, Oct 29: Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Tuesday issued a provisional calendar for sittings of its first session scheduled to begin on November 4.

According to a communication issued here by the Pro-tem Speaker of the J&K Assembly, the five-day session will begin with the election of the Speaker and the Lieutenant Governor’s address to the House on November 4.

Obituary references for former legislators who passed away since the last session of the erstwhile J&K Assembly will be held on November 5.

Discussion on the Motion of Thanks on the LG’s address will be held on November 6 and 7 while the session will conclude on November 8 with the Discussion on the Motion of Thanks on the LG’s address and the reply thereto.
