5-day boot camp on innovation, entrepreneurship concludes at SSM
Srinagar, May 3: A five day "Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp (Phase III) being organised by AICTE and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell concluded today with an impressive valedictory function at SSM College of Engineering Divar Parihaspora Pattan wherein mementos, certificates were distributed among guests, expert speakers and participants.
Prof. (Dr.) M.A. Shah, Head Department of Physics NIT Srinagar was the Chief Guest on the occasion and Dr. Elangovan Kariappan, Assistant Innovation Director, Innovation Cell, Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India was Guest of Honour besides senior functionaries and HODs of the College were also present on the occasion.
Before the function 13 innovative ideas pitched by different groups of students from across the country were evaluated by a team of experts/judges from NIT Srinagar, MSME, University of Kashmir and local experts from Wadhwani Foundation.
Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest appreciated the arrangements made by SSM College of Engineering as Nodal Centre for IDE Boot Camp Phase-III and he stressed upon the need for holding such events frequently.
Dr Sajad Hussain Din, Principal SSM College of Engineering presented a vote of thanks.
