Honolulu, Dec 8: The United States hosted the fourth annual Quad Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) Tabletop Exercise and Strategic Meeting in Honolulu from December 2 to 5.

Officials from India, Australia, Japan, and the United States convened to strengthen joint disaster-response capabilities across the Indo-Pacific, reaffirming the Quad’s commitment to timely and effective life-saving support in the region.

HADR remains a core pillar of the Quad’s cooperation, central to its broader goal of advancing peace, security, and resilience in the Indo-Pacific.

The grouping’s coordinated relief effort following the catastrophic earthquake in Myanmar earlier this year highlighted its ability to swiftly mobilize resources and deliver critical assistance when crises strike.
