4th CE Canon Tyndale-Biscoe Football Tournament: DPS Srinagar, Tyndale Biscoe, St Joseph, SRM Welkin seal semifinal berths
Srinagar, Sep 18: The 4th CE Canon Tyndale-Biscoe Football Tournament entered its fourth day with DPS Srinagar, Tyndale Biscoe School, St Joseph Baramulla, and SRM Welkin Sopore sealing semifinal berths after emphatic wins in their respective matches.
As per a statement issued on Thursday, the first match of the day was played between DPS School Srinagar and Sainik School. The match was won by DPS Srinagar School with a score of 6-2. Mohammad Affan from DPS School was declared as Man of the Match.
The Director of TBMS, Rahul Rex Kaul; the Principal of TBMS; the Principal of TKVS; and the Headmaster of TNG witnessed the thrilling match between TBS and Green Valley Educational. Tyndale Biscoe School emerged victorious with a score of 5-0. Mohammad Surur from TBS School was announced as Man of the Match.
The presence of former Director TBMS Parvez Samuel Kaul, Joyce Kaul and Parveen added significance to the third and fourth matches.
The third match was played between St Joseph School and JK Public School. In their face-off with St Joseph School, they proved their mettle and won the match by 2-0. Aman Qayoom of St Joseph School was declared as man of the match.
The concluding match was played between SRM Welkin and Foundational World School. SRM Welkin School won the match by 6-0. Adnan Javaid was declared Man of the Match.
The four teams qualified for the semifinals will lock horns in the semifinals, which are scheduled for tomorrow.
The first semifinal will be played between St Joseph Baramulla and DPS Srinagar, while the second semifinal will be played between Tyndale Biscoe School and SRM Welkin Sopore. Both the matches are expected to be thrilling and exciting.
