46 posts re-transferred from Distt Jail Kupwara to Distt Jail Bhaderwah

Jammu, May 21:   J&K home department has ordered the re-transfer of 46 posts from District Jail Kupwara to District Jail Bhaderwah in the Prisons department.

As per an order issued by Principal Secretary Home Chandraker Bharti, the sanctioned posts will include one post each of Superintendent Jail and Assistant Superintendent; three posts of Head Warder; twenty-six posts of SGW/Warders; one post each of SGW/driver, senior assistant, computer assistant, junior assistant, cook, barber G-III and orderly; two posts of Safai wallas; one post each of daily wager cook, consolidated Safaiwalla and medical assistant; two posts of nursing orderlies and one post of accountant.

“Re-transfer of these posts has been sanctioned with the approval of the competent authority and concurrence of the Finance Department, J&K conveyed vide U.O No. FD/Code/315/2021-02-23 dated May 1, 2024,” the order read.
