4 political workers injured in scuffle

Shopian, September 08: At least four persons suffered minor injures after a scuffle broke out between the workers of People's Democratic Party ( PDP) and Awami Itihad Party ( AIP) on Sunday in south Kashmir's Shopian district.

An official told Greater Kashmir that the incident occurred in Balpora village, four kms from Shopian town.

"During the scuffle 4 political workers suffered minor injures", said the official.

Police in a post on X said, "A scuffle reported between PDP and AIP party workers in Balpora,Shopian resulting in minor injuries. Both parties have been reported for violation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC), and the Police have taken cognizance of the incident".
