4 police personnel injured in Udhampur accident

Jammu, July 4: Four police personnel Thursday were injured in an accident near Champari village of Chenani in Udhampur district.

Officials said that the accident occurred when the driver of a police escort gypsy, bearing registration number JK02BR 1500, on the way from Udhampur to Kishtwar lost his control over the vehicle near Champari and it turned turtle, resulting in injuries to four police personnel.

All the injured police personnel, identified as Chandrashekhar Parihar, Rajesh Parihar, Anil Parihar and Babu Ram were shifted to CHC Chenani and a case in this connection was registered.
