4 L&T machines involved in illegal mining seized in Awantipora: Police

Srinagar, Jan 10: As part of its ongoing drive against illegal mining, Jammu and Kashmir Police in Awantipora seized four (04) L&T machines from Ladhoo, Khrew. The machines were found to be involved in illegal mining activities.

An official said that a case has been registered under relevant sections of law, and investigation has been taken up to identify all persons involved and to prevent recurrence of such illegal activities.

Police reiterated its commitment to strict enforcement of the law and urged the public to cooperate by reporting illegal mining activities.
