4 IAS, IFS officers get additional charge; IRS officer relieved from J&K
Jammu, Oct 10: The J&K government Thursday assigned additional charge to three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and one Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer.
Meanwhile, through a separate order, the General Administration Department (GAD) also ordered the relieving of an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer from J&K.
As per GAD order, Shaleen Kabra, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Jal Shakti Department (Additional charge of Financial Commissioner Revenue) will hold the charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Estates Department in addition to his duties till further orders.
Dheeraj Gupta, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment, will hold the charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Information Technology Department in addition to his duties till further orders.
Suresh Kumar Gupta, IFS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Culture Department, will hold the charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, School Education Department in addition to his duties till further orders.
Rashmi Singh, Commissioner Secretary to the Government, Hospitality & Protocol Department (Additional Charge of Principal Resident Commissioner, J&K Government, New Delhi) will hold charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Higher Education Department in addition to her duties till further orders.
Through a separate order, senior IRS officer Alok Kumar has been relieved from J&K enabling him to join his parent cadre.
“In pursuance of the approval of Competent Authority for premature repatriation of Alok Kumar, IRS (IT: 1990), the officer is hereby relieved from the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir with effect from October 10, 2024 (AN) to enable him to rejoin his parent cadre,” GAD order read.
